Small flames shot out from his nose, igniting some of the dry straw on which he slept. The smell of smoke woke him. Heaving himself to his feet he quickly stomped out the fire before it spread. He sleepily shifted the straw about to check and make sure his pup was safe. Instead he found the lingering stench of wyvern where his pup had been. Strake threw back his head and roared.
